Get connected- Volunteer hompage

Last year, over 8,700 volunteers helped us serve our neighbors in need.

Thank you for choosing to volunteer with us!

Our organization serves over 120,000 children, men, and women in need each year. We accomplish our critical work with the help of thousands of outstanding volunteers like you!

We are using a new online system to help get volunteers involved with our work. This new system will help us best match you to volunteer opportunities. You will be able to use the system to find volunteer opportunities, sign up online, track your hours, view your schedule, and more! Click a button below to get started. If you have any trouble signing up for events or submitting an application, please contact Volunteer@CatholicCharitiesDC.org.

Please note that you must have already submitted an applciation and be signed into your volunteer account in order to sign up for a volunteer shift. Please use the "opportunities" tab on your volunteer account to view the programs you've applied to and click on the activity that interests you to see and sign up for volunteer shifts. You can create and sign into your volunteer profile here.

 Who Do We Serve?

Clients at Catholic Charities come from all walks of life - ages, races, religions, and ethnic backgrounds. Many suffer from extreme poverty, and we work closely with them to address its underlying causes: unemployment, addiction, education, domestic abuse, severe health issues, and more. To each man, woman, and child who comes to our doors, we strive to offer the best services possible, meeting their immediate needs while empowering them to take steps towards self-sufficiency.
