Washington, DC
- Staff at the Refugee Center assist clients in doing on-line job applications and job research.
- Our Employment Referrals and Job Readiness Training Programs in DC and MD help compile weekly employment opportunities for job seekers, particularly Latino immigrants, and offer regular workshops to prepare job seekers for success in their career.
Maryland
- Staff at the Catholic Charities Center (Archdiocese of Washington) assist clients complete on-line job applications, search for jobs and compose resumes.
English as a Second Language
The Spanish Catholic Center in Gaithersburg, MD offers several ESOL programs in partnership with nearby community groups. Find the program that’s right for you by checking out their upcoming classes.
Financial Stability Network
The Financial Stability Network utilizes financial professionals to provide pro bono (free) assistance and mentoring in financial coaching, financial education, and tax assistance.
Green Construction Program
Our Green Pre-Apprenticeship Construction Program prepares clients for an exciting, rewarding career in green building by covering topics such as sustainable building and solar panel installation.
Catholic Charities Institute Professional Counseling Education Program
The PCEP offers courses for counseling persons with substance abuse issues. Our program is approved by NAADAC (National Association of Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselors) and we are one of the only providers in this region.
Supported Employment for Adults with Developmental Disabilities
Our employment specialists work one-on-one with adults with a developmental disability to help identify their strengths and interests, develop the needed skills, place them in a positive work environment, and provide ongoing support to ensure success.
