Almost 100 Catholic Charities supporters gathered for a celebration of the fifth anniversary of the 83.33 Society, a group of professionals and families that support the agency through volunteer work, gifts and networking. A cocktail reception included remarks from President and CEO Jim Malloy, Board of Directors Chair John Veihmeyer and 83.33 Society Chairs Chris and Michelle Connolly. 83.33 Society founding members Matt Carroccio and Caitlin Chalke were recognized, and Bahar and Philip Caulfield were introduced as the new chairs of the society. The gathering of next-generation supporters of Catholic Charities was also attended by members of the Enzler Society, group of younger adults who use volunteer service and community networking to raise awareness of the agency. Board Chair John Veihmeyer thanked the 83.33 Society’s Executive Committee for its energy, passion and commitment in serving the society and Catholic Charities. “We talk a lot at Catholic Charities about sustainability… That comes down to the next generation. You embody everything we talk about.”
