The Montgomery County Rapid Rehousing program is a scattered sites housing program for single unhoused individuals.

About the Program

The Catholic Charities program offers unhoused individuals in Montgomery County assistance with housing search, first month’s rent, security deposit and rental assistance, paired with case-management supportive services. The program’s goal is to help individuals transition out of homelessness and stabilize their housing situation within a year or less. Eligibility is determined by Montgomery County’s Services to End and Prevent Homelessness coordinated entry system for single individuals.

Our staff works one-on-one with program participants to help find and keep housing and then increase self-sufficiency through attention to well-being, budgeting and education. Staff meet regularly with participants to assess their needs and goals. The length of support a participant receives is based on their needs and the efforts they make to achieve their goals.

Enrollment and Eligibility

Referrals to the Montgomery County Rapid Rehousing program are made through Montgomery County’s Services to End and Prevent Homelessness coordinated entry system for single individuals.
