How
long have you served with the Enzler Society?
Three years.

Why
did you join the Enzler Society?
After
hearing about the Enzler Society from people involved in it and the original
founding members, I was excited to get involved to be more engaged with
community service.

What’s your favorite Enzler Society activity? I love working with the Youth Transitional Program once a month and thinking of different activities that we can do with them or ways to improve their lives at the shelter and their futures after the program.

What’s
your favorite memory?
We took the
clients at the Youth Transitional Shelter to the National Portrait Gallery and
had a private tour through different exhibits. The clients were so engaged and
interested in hearing about the art and loved giving their perspective on
pieces. We also all took photographs in front of President Obama’s portrait!

What
are you looking forward to in 2020?
I’m
looking forward to staying engaged with the clients and helping as they apply
to jobs and work on getting back on their feet. I also always look forward to
our quarterly networking events to welcome new members into the Enzler Society.
