Cup Of Joe
Cup of Joe is a pre-packaged breakfast program that serves men and women in Catholic Charities’ shelters. It provides a sustainable option for breakfast to over 1,500 people who stay in our shelters every night.
It takes a lot of volunteers to make this effort a reality. Join us in the spirit of giving and spend some time in our Cup of Joe assembly line. We always have fun, and we would love for you to be a part of it all.
There are three ways you or your group can get involved with this exciting opportunity.
Join volunteers from across the archdiocese for our monthly Cup of Joe packing event at our SHARE headquarters. It’s a fun, fast paced event and volunteers leave knowing they’ve helped to provide breakfast to those in need.
Host your own Cup of Joe packaging event. Gather a group of your friends, family, co-workers, teammates, purchase the supplies, and pack Cup of Joe foods at a location and time of your choice! Please contact Thomas Roddy for more information.
Want to help but have no time for packing Cup of Joe bagged breakfasts? You can offset food costs by donating $3 per breakfast to help the men and women who spent the night in our shelters start their day with a meal. How many people will you help today?
“I never look at the masses as my responsibility. I look at the individual. I can love only one person at a time. I can feed only one person at a time. Just one, one, one.”
