Catholic Charities honored its Southern Maryland Food Bank community partners at a special 40th anniversary dinner on Sept. 15, 2023. Photos by Chris Williams/Zoeica Images

Jim Malloy, president and CEO of Catholic Charities, extended the agency’s appreciation for the community’s support of the food bank.
Charles County Commissioner Ralph E. Patterson II offered his congratulations and recognition on the anniversary.
“The partnership that we have with the Southern Maryland Food Bank is a valued partnership and a much-needed program to help children in our community,” said Andrill Harris, community school coordinator at Dr. Samuel A. Mudd Elementary.
George Mattingly, program director, greeted guests and recognized food bank partners.
Rev. Jared Willemin gave a blessing and remarks.
Brenda DiCarlo (center), former food bank manager, was recognized for her dedication to the food bank.
The Charles County Youth Orchestra entertained guests.
