Immigration Legal Services
Immigration Legal Services (ILS) focuses on the provision of direct legal immigration services to foreign-born individuals and their families. Last year, we worked with more than 4,400 cases, ranging from consultations to full representation. ILS has represented individuals from more than 135 countries around the world needing legal assistance with an immigration matter. ILS also focuses on training lawyers to provide pro bono services and educating community groups on the latest immigration issues.

Intake Locations
If you need help with an immigration legal matter, walk-in intake is the first step. Please come to any of our locations during weekly walk-in hours or make an appointment (Gaithersburg location). As described below, clients at the Gaithersburg location are required to attend an information session (fee=$40) before meeting with an attorney or paralegal.
• Walk-in clients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Basic consultation fee is $60.
• Bring all documents related to your case.
• If you have been arrested, you must bring documents to show the disposition of the case.

Information sessions. No appointment necessary. Cost is $40:
• General immigration session in Spanish, Wednesdays at noon
• DACA session in Spanish, Wednesdays at 11 am
