Jim Feroli, Pro Bono Coordinator and Government Liaison
Jim Feroli is a graduate of Boston College and the University of Maryland Carey School of Law. He has successfully represented clients in removal, asylum, naturalization, and other immigration claims before the Immigration Courts, BIA, and the U.S. Federal Courts. He specializes in appellate matters, and has particular experience representing individuals being removed for criminal convictions and those applying for asylum relief. Jim has published numerous articles on removal defense, has spoken at bar conferences on the availability of immigration relief, and has served as a mentor for attorneys representing clients on appeal. Prior to joining Catholic Charities, Jim worked at the Immigrant and Refugee Appellate Center (IRAC) for nine years. Jim is a member of the D.C. and Maryland Bars.
