Elizabeth Carlson, Staff Attorney
Elizabeth Carlson joined Catholic Charities in February 2019. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Brandeis University and a J.D. from New York University School of Law. Prior to joining Catholic Charities, Elizabeth worked for several years as an Associate Attorney at Maggio + Kattar, a boutique immigration law firm in Washington DC. Her practice focused on family-based immigration, humanitarian immigration relief, and deportation defense. She also served for two years as a Judicial Law Clerk and Attorney Advisor at the New York immigration court, where she drafted decisions for the immigration judges. She is fluent in Spanish and is barred in New York and the District of Columbia.
