Involve your community in helping others. Seasonal drives and special events can be done on-site at your parish, school or business. Catholic Charities will work with your team to handle all the logistics, including pickup and delivery of items to people in need. Examples of drives include:

  • Winter clothing
  • Backpacks and school supplies
  • Household items, including cleaning supplies
  • Canned goods and turkey drives
  • Christmas gifts for families

Help with special events at our programs:

  • Annual youth service days
  • Annual Lenten food drives
  • Thanksgiving and Christmas parties at our programs

Help us fill a gap for those in need. We are helping parishes set up and run their own services. What are the needs of your community? Take a look and consider what you could create with our assistance to meet those needs. A parish hall, community rooms and other available spaces can become sites for:

  • Food or clothing distribution center
  • Substance abuse program site
  • Transitional housing or temporary shelter
  • Family/Individual Counseling
  • Immigration workshops and services
