People Living with Mental Illness

People Living with Mental Illness

Thanks to the counselors at Anchor Mental Health, David Goodwin is looking forward to the future. At the age of 56, after years of struggling with schizophrenia and drug addiction, David earned his General Equivalency Diploma. He has a part-time job, lives in his own apartment, and is starting a resource center for other people living with mental illness.

Whatever the challenge, we open a single door to help and hope.

Our Philosophy

For people living with mental illness, life is often a series of seemingly insurmountable challenges. Without support, they struggle to get control of their illness, make a living, and live independently. It can be a lonely and hopeless existence without proper care and encouragement.

We offer treatment to help people living with mental illness gain, or regain, independence. Our dedicated team of psychologists, nurses, social workers and counselors helps them create vision for their future, and take the first steps toward a life of accomplishment and independence.
