Parish Partners seeks to facilitate and encourage communication between local parishes and Catholic Charities’ programs by empowering and educating parish employees and volunteers about the services we offer. It is our goal to enable parishes to respond more easily to the needs of individuals they encounter and help people who come to them in need more easily access the services of Catholic Charities. Our regional coordinators work with parishes in the following areas: case management, access to Catholic Charities’ services, emergency assistance, volunteer activities, referrals to local service agencies, emergency assistance training for staff and volunteers, food and gifts at Thanksgiving and Christmas and much more.
Substance Abuse Education and Services: Catholic Charities Outreach Department has a licensed Substance Abuse Prevention Professional who is available to work with parishes, schools and community groups through education, training, and as a resource towards recovery options. For more information, please call Darryl Colbert (202) 361-1709.
