Social Enterprise and Community Food Programs

 Help is most effective when:

1. It is sustainable.
2. It involves everyone.

We operate several programs which provide employment for our clients, resources for the community and affordable food for everyone. Best of all, these programs are teaching our clients workplace skills, feeding the community and keeping costs low through volunteer service. Join us today!

SHARE Food Network

Each month, the SHARE Food Network distributes more than 10,000 food packages filled with meat, starches, fresh and frozen vegetables and dessert.  Each of these packages contains about $45 worth of food. The amazing part? A package costs only $20 dollars and two hours of community service, making groceries affordable for all. Everyone can participate.

Southern Maryland Food Bank

For food pantries serving hungry residents in Charles, Calvert and St. Mary's counties in Maryland, the Southern Maryland Food Bank is the main supplier of food items. The Southern Maryland Food Bank, in turn, depends on individual, corporate and faith-based groups to provide donations that bolster its efforts to answer emergency food crises.

Catholic Charities Enterprises

For adults living with a disability, be it physical, mental or developmental, Catholic Charities Enterprises offers many opportunities for meaningful employment with support. Partnering with Behavioral Health Services, the Lt. Joseph P. Kennedy Institute and several outside community groups, we provide jobs and support. We also operate a catering service that serves more than 4,000 meals each day.
