Meet David Goodwin
Each day in our community, people go to bed hungry. Battle drug addictions and mental illness. Fight for medical care. Struggle to make a life for their families. Like David Goodwin, they have a lot to give back. But they need the chance. For David, it came when he found Catholic Charities Anchor Mental Health. With our help, he got his GED and is building a resource center for others with mental illness. And he's taking on a mental health system that doesn't respond to the needs of the people it serves. He'll be talking to legislators and government officials, service providers, media anyone who is willing to understand what people with mental illness go through. Now thats a future with a vision.
