Southeast Family Center
Provides family support and case management services to families. Other methods of support include information and referral and assisting individuals in need of support with rent, mortgage, utilities and food. Individuals and families must live in Ward 8.
Services provided at this location are available to all residents of Ward 8 in Washington, DC:
Family Support and Case Management: Social workers on staff provide support and crisis intervention to families with the final goal of preserving the family unit and strengthening bonds between its members
Referrals: Direction and assistance in getting connected to Catholic Charities' programs, as well as community programs whose services are tailored to meet a specific need that assists families and individuals
Financial Assistance: Eligiable families and individuals can receive assistance in paying rent, mortgage or utility bills
Food Pantry: Open select hours, no appointment needed
McConnville Fund: A special fund set up to provide support to single mothers with cancer living in the District of Columbia or the Maryland Counties of Montgomery, Prince George's, Calvert, Charles and St. Mary's. Potential clients must be able to demonstrate financial need.Location:
